This is a painting to honor the Yoruba goddess Oshun, who is the goddess of the sweet waters (rivers and streams etc) According to legend, the other Orixas (Gods and Goddesses) were talking badly about Oshun and said they didn't need her to inhabit the earth, out of revenge, Oshun left the Earth, and since the waters have been subject to massive destruction in the world. The way we can call her back and save the waters, is to revere her once again. Make her aware of her importance, so this painting is to honor her.
